Telepsychiatry does not fit the needs of every client, but it is a convenient and flexible option for many. This setting is best suited for low acuity symptom management and follow up

Clients needing a higher level of care eg: Inpatient Or Partial Hospitalization may not be adequately served at our clinic.

Telepsychiatry may not be appropriate for-

  • Clients who are actively suicidal or Homicidal
  • Who are constantly in crisis
  • Who are actively engaged in using drugs or alcohol
  • Active symptoms of eating disorder, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia or any other form of Psychosis

This practice is SELF PAY ONLY and does not accept any insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare

For Self-pay clients, we can provide you with a Receipt called SuperBill for you to submit to your commercial insurance to possibly receive reimbursement, but there are no guarantees. Most insurances in our experience generously cover up to 80% of your out of network bill

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (approximately 60 mins) – $ 375

Follow up appointments (approximately 20 mins)- $225

Second Opinion- $500

A No Show charge will be charged at full price, and this is NOT reimbursed by your insurance

To avoid any no show charges, please cancel or reschedule your appointments 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment

Payments and co-payments are due at the time of your service; however, you will be required to provide a payment method in order to book your appointments. We are currently only taking credit cards, but we are working towards more secure processing of other modes of payments.

Controlled substances are medications that can cause physical and mental dependence if used inappropriately or over a long period. Controlled substances are strictly regulated by the DEA. Due to the increased regulatory requirements, we seldomly prescribe any controlled medications. Some examples of these medications include Stimulant meds like Adderall, Ritalin, Focalin, etc. Benzodiazepines including Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin etc. Hypnotics including Ambien, Lunesta, Sonata, etc.

Conditions that are treated with the above-mentioned medications can be evaluated and offered non-narcotic treatment options as deemed appropriate

If being on these medications or receiving these medications is your primary requirement, then you would be better served by a different provider and this office may not be suitable for your needs.

Phone calls and emails will be answered within 24 hours. 

After hours emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room

This office does not provide any legal evaluations/Expert Opinions, Custody evaluations, Forensic evaluations, or Certifications including but not limited to SSI/SSDI, FMLA, school/work accommodations, or ESA (emotional support animals) 

The Good Faith Estimate (or GFE) is a statement that summarizes a self-pay individual’s expected charges for a scheduled or requested service. If the difference between a GFE and the bill is more than $400, the clients have a right to dispute it.

The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur examples include but are not limited to needing to hospitalize a patient, needing required labs/urine drug screens, etc.
